Assessment:

The qualification is assessed by the following methods-

Unit 1- Working as a Close Protection Operative:

This area of assessment is set and assessed externally. This aspect contains a paper consisting of 25 multiple choice questions with a 70% pass mark. The candidates have 40 minutes to complete this paper.

Unit 2- Planning, preparing, and supporting a Close Protection operation:

This assessment is also set and assessed externally. The candidates will complete a multiple-choice paper consisting of 30 questions. This paper will last 45 minutes and has a 70% pass mark.

Unit 3-Conflict Management within the Security Industry:

The final assessment contains a multiple-choice paper consisting of 20 questions. The candidates will have 30 minutes to complete this paper. This final paper also has a 70% pass mark.
